In the past week many of us gathered together with our families for the traditional Chinese New Year reunion dinner. A very happy new year to all our Chinese readers. Here at GetIT we had a reunion too – albeit a month earlier than most.
GetIT founder, Laina Raveendran Greene, visited Singapore with her family and gave us the opportunity to bring together the old and new faces of GetIT. Along with Laina we managed to get a hold of several former directors who helped shaped GetIT to be what it is today. Mr K.C. Loh, Mr Raveendran and Mr S. Chandra have all held directorial positions at GetIT with Mr Loh participating in an advisory capacity after resigning his directorship to pursue his other concerns.
The talk at the table had shades of the past, the present and the future and was especially wonderful to those of us who have been at GetIT long enough to have had the privilege of working with this remarkable bunch of people.
Along with the good news we also unfortunately had to say goodbye to a member of our design team, Yeoh Khai Hooi aka ‘Sir John’. Yeoh was an integral part of GetIT for several years and will be sorely missed. A toast to our good fellow and may he have success with whichever path he chooses in the future. Cheers mate!
